December 30th

New Blog updated thanks to Brian Jackson. I am looking forward to a great new year and all the new things that will happen. Tomorrow is the last day of the year and great to reflect back on what a year it was. It was truly an extraordinary year (per Pastor Mark).

Pictures

So my Mom was in town for Joshua's birthday and he enjoyed having her over. She was determined to get pictures of those grand babies. So here is some of the pictures:

They are so adorable!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is this week and we have at least one thing to be thankful for. I am thankful for alot of things like my health, my family, for having a life full of faith and the hand of God on my life. I think it is great to be thankful all the time, but it is nice to have a holiday for thanksgiving.

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Col. 2:7

Being rooted in him makes you joyful and then turns into thankfulness. Being thankful opens so many things for you. It can give you peace, joy, and rest. Jesus came to take everything we suffer with. So be thankful for Jesus today and everyday.

Working

Today has been a busy day and so busy that I had a bottle of Fresca sitting under my desk and when it feel over onto my feet I jumped!

Sometimes we can get so caught up on what's going on right in front of us we miss what is going on around us. Being open to the spirit of God is crucial in our everyday lives. Sometimes I need to stop and say the Greater one is in me (this is from Pastor Mark's Message). Renew your mind daily to the things of God and apply it to your life. When you feel like the project your working on isn't going to get done on time just stop and say the Greater one lives in me and I can do this and go on. John 14:20 says: On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

October 19th, 2010

Today feels like a pretty blah day for me being that I worked late yesterday and on top of that I still had to take care of the family, but you know who can give strength like no other? Jesus, his word says in Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Ask and wait.....if we wait upon on God he will renew our strength. This isn't rocket science stick with what God says to us in his word and watch it perform itself in your life.

So say to yourself if I wait upon the Lord he will renew my strength. I will wait upon the Lord and he will renew my strength.

October 15th, 2010

Today I was reading on HollyFurtick.com the scripture from Colossians 1:9-12 9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[d] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

This is a powerful prayer from the word of God.

Kings James says in verse 12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

We are partakers into the kingdom of God. If nothing else "looks" like it is going our way just reflect and remember what the word of Gopd says in giving thanks unto out Father. We think because of how it looks on the outside that's just how it is. Wait a minute I haven't read that in the Bible so why do I believe that? It's the world's system. It says in Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Renew your mind to the things of God. Everyday give thanks to God, speak to your brain and tell it how to think. The power is in reading and understanding what the word of God says to you.

Today I walk forward in knowing what God has for me and what his word says. Speak what the word says and watch the things of God come true for you today!
